Each
year, I spend the first week of the year throwing everything in my
life under the microscope and getting real about what went well,
what didn’t go as planned and what really sucked. Nothing is off
the table – relationships, health, photography business, team,
house, family. I feel like when I’m in it, I put my head down and
get through it. But when my photography business slows down in
January, I can be more honest with myself.
I
want to take our time together today to REALLY encourage you to
spend some time on your goals for 2021 and to be honest about what
you want. You may be feeling beat up, exhausted, in quarantine
even. Being in business 23 years, if I have learned one thing it is
that while we aren’t in control of the world, the environment or
the economy, we are in control of our effort and attitude. We can
focus on us and our business and serving our clients and we can
accomplish any of our goals in ANY environment. We call that making
our own economy and that starts with solid goal
setting.
