Hey I hear you. 2020 has been a dumpster fire for everything you planned. So you might be thinking, what do I have to lose? I’ll have a black Friday sale in my photography business to try to recover. I mean who doesn’t love BLACK FRIDAY, right? Especially when you can score a $850 tv for 200 bucks. ! So why not jump in on it to the doorbuster dash and grab some of the money being thrown around for your photography business? And that really is a logical argument, especially this year, but there’s more to it than that. So hear me out.
This topic is a hot one….especially because Black Friday is FUN. That feeling you get when you load up on 3 pair of jeans and 2 sweatshirts for 85% off….it’s pretty awesome! But let me tell you, having a Black Friday sale in your photography business is a terrible idea if you’re boutique or have the desire to ever go boutique. I’m not going to sugar coat this. I have strong opinions so today I’m going to dig into what NOT to do on Black Friday and what to do instead.
